The 160 page book is available in two editions: an exclusive hardback edition (a a cloth binding with a dust wrapper) and a commercial edition in softcover. The hardback edition is also available as a luxurious edition in a chic slipcase.
Such a richly illustrated book on this subject has never been published before.

Rotterdam and the Sea: Four centuries of passenger travel
> From the beginning of the 20th century, these shipping companies put larger and more luxurious ships into service. A turnabout took place in the 60’s and 70’s when line services to the Dutch East Indies and the United States were not doing well. Cruise travel began and is still flourishing. That cruise travel is alive and kicking in Rotterdam is demonstrated by the enormous public and media interest for passenger ships which call at the Maas city.
In the book Rotterdam and the Sea this fascinating and varied story is told. With around 200 many published for the first time photos, the majority by Eppo W. Notenboom, who has for decades photographed cruise ships in Rotterdam from the most unique viewpoints. In addition, as part of his extensive photo and illustration archive, are special historical photos and illustrations.
